Story

RABBITS IN THE HEADLIGHT is the story of two 17-year old boys and their winter voyage toward adulthood. Vince has a hard time accepting his mother's boyfriends, while his father left the family for Sweden years ago. Jeremy on the other hand has to work in his fathers book shop and can’t understand the fact that what remains of his little free time is now being threatened by his fathers decision to fire the last employee. Jeremy's biggest problem however is that he is slowly but surely falling in love... with Vince.
After things between Vince and his mother reach a boiling point, the two boys decide to embark on a journey for Sweden to reunite with Vince's father. They leave in a fit of euphoria – free and with a feeling of independence unknown to them until now. But like the emotional rollercoaster ride the two are going through, the journey turns into a personal odyssey across the frosty landscape of Northern Europe.
